Information regarding complaints
- What is a complaint?
It is a complaint or a statement of grievance directed at an insurance business by a person connected to an insurance policy or to the insurance services provided to that person. The investigation of complaints varies depending on whether they are straightforward claims relating to the performance of a contract or the provision of information/clarifications.
- How do I file a complaint?
Select ONE of the following ways to file a complaint:
- By visiting the website of Genikes Insurance, at http://www.genikesinsurance.com.cy/ select ‘File a Complaint’.
- By post, at the address: 4 Evrou Street, Strovolos 2003, Nicosia, O. Box 21668, Nicosia 1511.
- By email, at complaints@gic.bankofcyprus.com.
- By fax, at 22123706.
- By visiting in person any branch of Genikes Insurance or Bank of Cyprus (forwarded to the Submissions Officer).
When filing a complaint, it is important you include the following information:
Your full name and postal address;
Identity card/passport number;
Phone number;
Email;
A detailed description of your complaint;
How you wish us to contact you (by phone/email/post).
